One day, when Perrie is using AI to help her write an essay for school, the system suddenly glitches and sucks her into the digital realm. As the player, you must help Perrie navigate the matrix to escape and return home. But as you descend deeper into the system, you will encounter many obstacles and enemies that are derived from generative AI.

GenMatrix is a 2D indie edutainment platform video game created by Minh Thien An Pham and Vanessa Han. It teaches cybersafety and the ethical applications of AI in school, work, creative media, and social media.

An and Vanessa created GenMatrix as part of the Fulton County Student Technology Competition, where it won first place in the Digital Game Design category.
